Marta Pérez Maseda -Graduated in Chemistry from the University of Santiago de Compostela (2017). Her interest in biomaterials research began while he was doing a master’s degree in Materials Chemistry at the Jaume I University of Castellón (2019). In 2019, she joined the Bionanotools group, where she could begin her doctoral studies, directed by Beatriz Pelaz and Pablo del Pino, while enjoying a FPU scholarship. Her research was based on the functionalization of different metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) with a wide variety of molecules, such as polymers, with the aim that these new compounds can be used in biomedical applications and its characterization.
