A moment of pride and celebration!
Beatriz has been awarded the 2024 National Research Award for Young Researchers, the highest scientific honor in Spain. The ceremony takes place at the Royal Palace of El Pardo, presided over by His Majesty King Felipe VI, with the presence of Minister Diana Morant and Secretary of State Eva Ortega-Paíno.

This award honors Beatriz’s remarkable career in the development of advanced nanomaterials for biomedical applications, a field in which she continues to make outstanding contributions with vision, dedication, and scientific brilliance.

This edition also marks a historic milestone: for the first time, more than half of the awards were granted to women 🟣, a powerful step forward for equality in the Spanish scientific landscape. These prestigious awards not only celebrate excellence in research , they also shine a light on the people who inspire future generations to dream, explore, and discover.
